It’s Okay to Start, Stop & Pivot – Resolve to Never Give Up

Five years ago, I posted my first blog post, full of excitement and a vision of how I would share my journey & insights as a an energy healer. I was ready to inspire others, but life had other plans. One post turned into silence. Days turned into years. And here we are in 2025.

At first, the thought of returning to my blog felt daunting. "What will people think?" "Is it too late to pick this up again?" These questions buzzed in my mind like an annoying mosquito. But here’s the truth I’ve come to embrace: It’s never too late to begin again.

Life has taught me that it’s okay to start something, pause & even pivot. Growth is rarely, if ever, linear. Just as in fitness and healing, there’s a rhythm to our journeys. Some days we’re running marathons (whether figuratively or literally); other days, we’re resting on the mat. Both are essential.

When I reflect on the past five years, I realize how much I’ve learned about resilience and self-acceptance. The most profound lesson? The best resolution you can ever make is to begin where you are, with what you have, and trust the process as often as it takes. Nevermind if you’ve started and stopped, that’s okay too. What matters is that you’re still dreaming & taking small steps in the direction of your dreams.

In my work as a personal trainer, I often tell clients that every rep & step count. Maybe you’re just lacing up your sneakers today. Maybe you’re revisiting an old passion. Wherever you are on your journey, give yourself permission to show up as you are.

The same philosophy applies to energy healing. Our bodies and spirits are dynamic. Healing isn’t a straight path; it’s a winding road with moments of clarity and moments of confusion. Each breath, pause & shift brings us closer to alignment.

So, here I am, five years later, hitting "publish" once more. My message to you? Whatever dream you’ve put on hold, it’s waiting for you. Dust it off, breathe life into it, and begin. It’s okay if it’s not perfect. It’s okay if you’re starting small. What’s important is that you’re starting.

This year, I’m committing to showing up for my dreams, even if it’s one small step at a time. I invite you to join me. Let’s embrace the idea that beginnings are beautiful, pauses are powerful, and pivots are part of the journey.

Remember: It’s never too late to chase your dreams, to rediscover what lights you up, and to start again. The world is waiting for your magic. Are you ready to share it?

Here’s to beginnings, however messy & magnificent they may be. Let’s do this together.
